Abigail Piper, a 23-year-old entrepreneur and environmental advocate from St. John's, has been selected to represent Antigua and Barbuda at the 2026 Miss Caribbean Universe pageant, which will be held in Port of Spain, Trinidad in July.
Piper, who holds a business degree from the University of the West Indies, won the national title at a ceremony at the Sandals Grande Resort last weekend, impressing judges with her platform on ocean conservation and blue economy development.
National Pride
"I am so proud and humbled to carry the flag of Antigua and Barbuda on the Caribbean stage," Piper said in her acceptance speech. "My platform — protecting our oceans for future generations — is deeply personal. We are a nation defined by our seas, and their health is our health."
Miss Caribbean Universe 2026 will see contestants from across the Caribbean Community and beyond compete across evening wear, swimwear, talent, and interview categories. Antigua last won the title in 2019.
