Hopeful Hearts Foundation Calls on Public to Support June 13 Food and Clothing Drive for Vulnerable Families

A local charitable organisation is reaching out to the public, businesses, and community groups ahead of an upcoming drive to deliver essential relief to vulnerable families across Antigua and Barbuda — and every donation, large or small, will make a tangible difference.

Hopeful Hearts Foundation is appealing for donations ahead of its upcoming Food and Clothing Drive scheduled for June 13, 2026, as the organisation continues its efforts to support families facing difficult circumstances by distributing essential supplies including food, clothing, toiletries, and other basic necessities.

A Community Called to Give

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Kristine Louisa, said the drive is another opportunity for the community to unite in support of those in need. "At Hopeful Hearts Foundation, we believe that small acts of kindness can create lasting change," Louisa said. "This initiative is an opportunity for our community to come together and support families who may be struggling. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference."

What Is Needed

The Foundation is currently seeking donations of children's clothing for ages five to fifteen, adult clothing for men and women, shoes of all sizes, non-perishable food items, toiletries and hygiene products, as well as blankets and towels. Both new and gently used items will be accepted.
