Rohan Mullings, the man who was the subject of a regional wanted bulletin and a public appeal in Antigua and Barbuda last week, is now in custody after he was arrested at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in St. Kitts on Sunday following his repatriation from Antigua.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force confirmed the arrest in a brief statement, thanking members of the public and the relevant authorities in Antigua for their cooperation and assistance in locating and apprehending the 44-year-old Jamaican national.

How It Unfolded

The arrest brought a swift conclusion to a cross-border manhunt that began when St. Kitts and Nevis police issued a wanted bulletin for Mullings, of Pond's Pasture, St. Kitts, in connection with a criminal offence. Well-placed sources subsequently indicated that Mullings may have travelled to Antigua, prompting the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda to issue its own public appeal urging anyone who spotted the fugitive not to approach him but to contact the Criminal Investigations Department or Crime Stoppers immediately.

That appeal, combined with inter-island law enforcement coordination, led to Mullings being located in Antigua and repatriated to St. Kitts, where he was taken into custody upon arrival at the airport on Sunday, July 5.

Authorities in St. Kitts and Nevis have not disclosed the specific offence for which Mullings was wanted, nor the circumstances surrounding the events that led to the warrant being issued. Further details are expected as the matter progresses through the legal system.

A Model of Regional Cooperation

The successful apprehension of Mullings demonstrates the practical value of inter-island law enforcement cooperation across the Eastern Caribbean — a model that relies on shared intelligence, public vigilance, and the willingness of neighbouring police forces to act quickly when wanted individuals cross territorial boundaries.

For the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, the outcome validates its decision to publicise the bulletin and enlist the Antiguan public's help. For the citizens who may have provided information leading to Mullings' location, the result is a reminder that community cooperation with law enforcement produces tangible outcomes.
