Antigua and Barbuda continues to cement its reputation as the Caribbean's premier luxury destination, with a string of hotel awards, new boutique property openings, and record high-end visitor numbers confirming the island's premium positioning in the global travel market.
Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez said at a press briefing that average visitor spend is up 22% year-on-year, with the high-net-worth segment showing particularly strong growth. "Antigua is not competing on price — we are competing on quality, authenticity, and experience," Fernandez said.

Carlisle Bay and Jumby Bay Island have both received top-10 rankings in Condé Nast Traveller's Caribbean resort listings, while Antigua was named "Best Caribbean Wedding Destination" by Brides magazine for the third consecutive year.
The twin islands' now-legendary 365 beaches remain the core asset that no competitor can replicate. Combined with improved airlift, yacht charter growth, and an expanding gastronomic scene, Antigua offers the complete luxury package.
