Antigua and Barbuda emerged as one of the standout destinations from the Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2025, the region's premier trade show organised by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), where the Antigua Tourism Authority (ATA) secured 47 new trade partnerships and confirmed expanded airlift agreements with three additional North American carriers.

The five-day event — held in Barbados this year — brought together over 800 buyers, sellers, and media representatives from across the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean.

ATA Director of Marketing Cheryl Andrews said the marketplace confirmed the growing appetite among tour operators and travel agents for Antigua product, particularly in the adventure tourism, wedding, and culinary segments. "Every buyer we met wanted more Antigua inventory. The demand is there," Andrews said.

New flight agreements were confirmed with Frontier Airlines (Miami-Antigua, launching December 2025), Spirit Airlines (Fort Lauderdale-Antigua, pending government approval), and WestJet (Toronto-Antigua, seasonal expansion).
